Alexandria Dial is a Birmingham, AL native who moved to Dallas, TX, in 2018. She graduated from Auburn University with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design and a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. She has since worked for a design-build company in the DFW area before joining Studio Outside in March 2021.

As a landscape designer, Alexandria has a passion for designing meaningful spaces that tell a story. While studying for her master’s degree, Alexandria had the opportunity to do a two-week study abroad trip to China, where she visited Shanghai, Beijing & Suzhou. During her trip, she learned about important historic spaces, including The Great Wall of China, Summer Palace, and Tiananmen Square. Exploring these historical spaces and their design elements, unique to their history and geography, caught Alexandria’s attention and continues to be a point of interest today.

On the weekend, you can find her rollerblading or riding her bike, watching movies with family and friends, trying new food places in the DFW area, and making new recipes she saw on Pinterest.
