Located on the edge of Deep Ellum in Dallas, the new Baylor Scott & White Administrative Center will bring hundreds of employees together at one main campus. The five-story office building hovers over the adjacent Landry Park with a large covered plaza facing the park for the employees. Penetrations in the building are reflected on the ground plane with a composition of textured Italian dark limestone. The linear paving and wall design are complemented by the circular White Oak deck and bench. The White Oak bench in the arrival court ties into materials used inside the lobby while giving warmth to the area. The planting design uses native, well-adapted plants for the region.
