The master plan offers a holistic boardwalk redevelopment that connects with the existing pier. This pedestrian way is enhanced by custom lighting sculptures and a double row of palm trees, creating a landmark waterfront experience. Park amenities include a redevelopment of the concert venue, new playgrounds, parking and circulation enhancements, and multiple locations for food trucks and picnic gatherings. The plan also provides a new vision for landscape management ñ allowing for drifts of native grasses to hold slopes and define broad ìroomsî for different types of events.
