Josh Pollastrini joined Studio Outside in 2022. He graduated magma cum laude from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. Growing up, he was always playing sports and exploring the rural neighborhoods of the Chicagoland area.

While working toward his BLA, he studied at the University of Hawai'i for a semester. Learning about the Hawaiian culture gave him an appreciation for the connection humans have with the natural environment. This appreciation grew into an interest in healing landscapes and humans’ innate need to be in nature. Outside of work, you can find Josh behind a camera lens or hiking.
