KATIE ROBERSON

Project Leader

Katie Roberson graduated from Texas Tech University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a minor in Plant and Soil Science.

She is interested in the intricacy of dense urban environments and how designers work to reintegrate natural and productive systems, specifically sustainable farming methods within dense urban fabrics.

During her time at Texas Tech, she studied the integration of transitional housing and urban farming in order to explore the possibilities of combining productive landscapes with a more rehabilitating approach to transitional housing. Katie was also named the Texas Tech Landscape Architecture department’s undergraduate Olmstead Scholar in 2021. In her spare time, Katie can be found enjoying hobbies that include getting outdoors, reading lots of books, watching movies, and playing and watching basketball.
