Liberty Mutual’s North Texas campus is located on the north end of the new Legacy West development, a high-density, walkable urban district with entertainment, residential, and office uses. As part of the larger urban development, Liberty Mutual includes twin office towers on top of a central platform call center and parking garage. The team worked closely with the developer to incorporate three sides of urban streetscape that include specialty paving, street trees, lighting, and seating areas that connect the campus with the larger district. The secure complex has one singular pedestrian entrance location. Custom elliptical planters featuring a native Texas plant palette delicately balance security concerns with the need for comfortable, human-scale green spaces. Two employee courtyards were created to provide direct outdoor access without having reenter through security. These courtyards offer staff gathering spaces with shade, seating, and art installations.
