Perched high on a lovely corner lot in Preston Hollow is a modern residence built around large existing oak trees. Terraced steps make their way down to the street level from the front door while the garage entrance is practically level. Courtyards on the west and south extend the living and entertaining space.

The pool is nestled between two large, high canopy oak trees. The main living area, with glass on both sides appears to float above the pool with water on each side. The spa spills into the pool and the same cascade appears on the front of the house.

Planting reflects the ownerís desire for a woodland garden in back surrounding a putting green. Evergreen and perennial plants provide a lush and seasonally interesting garden rich in contrasting textures. A Japanese maple grove outside the master bath on the east side of the structure brings delicate textures and dappled light right up to the window while lighting creates a dramatic view at night.
