MARK THOMAS
—
Senior Associate
Mark Thomas has worked with the principal group since 2007. Over those years he has gained experience in a variety of project types and scales that include private gardens, environmental education campuses, historical restoration, and ranch master plans. Of all the project types, his passion lies in the detailed level design found in small private gardens and institutional projects.
Mark is responsible for coordinating the team's daily work efforts, building client relationships, managing consultants, and implementation of plans and construction. A strong work ethic and unique mix of design talent, management and organization skills, make him a key asset to each project team. He strives to create sustainable designs executed through a fine attention to detail.
"I want to be a landscape architect" the six year old announced during his graduation from kindergarten in Memphis, TN. This unusually far sited proclamation came to him naturally as his father is a landscape architect, graduating from the same program at LSU. Out of the office, he enjoys helps with local community projects and likes to enjoy the area's rich cultural life attending art museums or galleries, as well as being involved with the design community. With live music being one of his greatest passions, you usually can find Mark listening to live music at one of the great venues in Dallas.
