Project Leader

Kally is a California native who joins Studio Outside from sunny San Diego as a (mostly) remote team member. She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture, minoring in Sustainable Environments.

Through extensive internship experience and full-time positions, she has worked with six diverse landscape architecture firms, and developed skills in various project types, from mixed-use developments to neighborhood master plans to commercial complexes.

As a landscape designer, she draws inspiration from the native environment and its sense of place. She strives for design excellence rooted in a seamless connection of people to place. Kally has a passion for planting design and an appreciation for the diversity and beauty that can be crafted.

Her life outside of the office consists of camping, sunset hikes, amateur cooking, breweries with good company, and tending to her many houseplants!
