Ranier Place
Fort Worth, Texas

Designed by the late Bill Millsap, Ranier Place is a fresh and inviting take on traditional architecture with a nod to modern sensibilities. Perched on a bluff in an established neighborhood, the old live oaks provide a sense that the structure and gardens have always been there. A simple palette of brick and slate combined with evergreen structural plantings create a clean frame for the owner’s gardening prowess and all-white flower scheme.

The outdoor fireplace draws activity to the western edge of the property. A high tree canopy and rolling lawn are floor and ceiling of this magical patio space. Future plans include a greenhouse and chicken coop near the guest quarters that will utilize all parts of the property.
