Studio Outside assisted Hoefer Wysocki Architects in preparing a streetscape improvement plan for the Garland Medical District. This economic development project was developed through Baylor’s donation to create a hospital facility for the Veterans Administration and a Medical District. The project envisions replacing the pedestrian streetscape and sidewalks with new fifteen-foot wide paving, adding street and pedestrian fixtures and other street amenities. The project has a new street plan that assists the hospital’s renovation into a state-of-the-art facility and the addition of multiple medical office buildings to supplement the district.
