Sahana graduated from the University of Virginia with a Master of Landscape Architecture with an Urban Design Certificate in 2022 and is embarking on her journey to becoming a landscape architect here at Studio Outside.

Drawing from her experiences living in the rapidly changing city of Bangalore in India, Sahana's passion for the profession comes from a place of care and commitment to creating and fostering landscapes of respect for humans, plants, and animals alike. She is interested in synanthropic systems, invested in public experiences, and intrigued by narratives of a place - themes she incorporated in her studio projects while in school.

When she's not working, Sahana can be found experimenting with vegetarian recipes and making them her own. She also enjoys baking, yoga, writing, and exploring Dallas.
